Terms of Service
Effective date: August 9, 2026
Acceptance of terms
By using Taqdeem (taqdeem.net) you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The service
Taqdeem is an online service for creating, editing, and exporting CVs and cover letters in Arabic and English, with optional AI-powered tools (importing a CV from a file, translation, text enhancement, and ATS-compatibility analysis). The core service is free: creating, editing, and exporting your CV never requires payment, and the free tier includes most templates and every accent color. Optional paid offerings exist - the Taqdeem Pro subscription (monthly or annual), a fixed-length access pass, and one-time single-template purchases - with pricing and terms shown clearly on the pricing page and before any checkout completes.
We may move features between the free and paid tiers over time, and may change how many documents the free plan includes. Such changes apply to creating NEW documents only: whatever you made before a change stays saved, editable and exportable.
Payments & refunds
Every purchase - a Pro subscription, the access pass, or a single-template purchase - is covered by the same Refund Policy: a 14-day window from payment, approved immediately unless the paid features were abused before requesting, with specific provisions for one-time purchases spelled out there. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled anytime from your account page, which stops the next renewal. Full details are in our Refund Policy (linked in the site footer).
Your account
You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep your login credentials confidential. You're responsible for activity that happens through your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use of it.
Your CV and letter content
Content you write or upload (your experience, education, skills, your letter text, and your photo or signature image if you upload one) is entirely yours. We don't own it and don't use it for anything beyond operating the service for you - displaying it back to you, saving it, exporting it to PDF or Word, and processing it with AI when you explicitly ask for that (import, translation, enhancement, or analysis). You're responsible for the accuracy of what you put in.
Once you delete a CV, a cover letter, or your account, its data is removed from our systems as described in the Privacy Policy.
AI features
AI tools (import, translation, enhancement, and compatibility analysis) can occasionally produce mistakes or inaccurate information. Review any AI-generated text before relying on it or sending it to an employer - you're the final responsible party for the content of the CV you submit, not the AI.
Acceptable use
Don't use Taqdeem for anything unlawful, to impersonate someone else or deliberately misrepresent your qualifications with intent to defraud, to attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts, or to scrape the service or abuse its APIs through heavy automated use.
Intellectual property
Taqdeem's template designs, software, and brand belong to us. Using the service doesn't grant you any right to copy or redistribute our software or designs outside of your personal use of the CV you create with them.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the account page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, notifying you where practical.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that you'll get a job or a response from any employer as a result of using Taqdeem. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with the effective date above updated, and we'll notify you of material changes by email or an in-service notice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Gulf countries in general and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in particular. (Placeholder clause - pending legal review before official launch.)
