Privacy Policy

Taqdeem (taqdeem.net) is an online CV-building service. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the service, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. By using Taqdeem you agree to this policy.

Account data: your name, email, and password (stored encrypted), or your basic identity from Google or LinkedIn if you sign in with them - we use these for login only and do not import your profile data or contacts from those platforms.

CV content: the information you type into the editor or upload as your existing CV file (such as experience, education, and skills) - stored for your account only.

Basic technical data: essential cookies used for login and session management.

Waitlist email: if you previously joined our waitlist, we keep your email to notify you about the launch.

We use your data to provide the service itself: creating, saving, editing, and exporting your CVs, signing you in securely, responding to your inquiries, and sending service-related emails (such as email confirmation or password reset).

We do not sell your data to any third party, and we do not use your CV content for advertising.

When you use the CV import feature, the text of the file you upload is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for one purpose only: extracting your details to autofill the editor. Your data is not used to train AI models, and this feature is entirely optional - it only runs when you choose to upload a file.

We rely on trusted service providers to run Taqdeem; they process data on our behalf and under our instructions: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (site hosting), Cloudflare (domain and network), Google and LinkedIn (sign-in only), and Anthropic (the AI import feature).

If we launch paid plans in the future, payments will be processed by a licensed payment provider - we will never store your card numbers ourselves.

We may disclose data where the law requires us to.

Your data is stored with Supabase in the European Union (Paris). We keep your data for as long as your account exists; when you delete your account, your data and CVs are deleted.

You have the right to access, correct, and delete your data, and to withdraw your consent at any time. You can edit your CVs directly from your account; to request full deletion of your account and data, contact us at the email below and we will act on your request without undue delay.

We use essential cookies only - to sign you in and maintain your session. We currently use no advertising cookies or third-party tracking. If that changes in the future (for example, adding usage analytics), we will update this policy.

We protect your data with encryption in transit and strict database-level access controls that ensure each user can only reach their own data. That said, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Taqdeem is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data about them.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the effective date above updated; if the changes are material, we will notify you by email or an in-service notice.
